A couple of announcements. First, Rantlister would like to welcome two new additions to the list. How to Kill People and Stasis Rant have been added to the list. Their updates will be added on the next list update. I must say, I am impressed with some of Stasis Rant’s stuff, considering he’s only been up for a little over a month.
Second, I have begun work on a new layout for the site. I expect this to be done within a month if my schedule stays the way it is now. This means that we will be getting rid of Wordpress (it WON’T be missed). I also intend to add several things:
- New guidelines and a new process for getting your site accepted onto the list.
- A separate page with descriptions of each list site.
- The pruning of sites that have been inactive for a year or so, or are not considered rant sites (we’ve already removed two)
Since we are getting rid of Wordpress, that means there will be no more commenting on updates. It’s not like anybody did anyway. If you have anything you would like to see added to the new Rantlister, please post it in our forums.

Steve has several top 5 finishes in the FSR Nationwide Series, and but for a late race wreck had a win sewn up at Martinsville. So be sure to visit FSReal Racing and click on the FSRtv link, and support Rantlister’s race team!
In the light of NinjaViking’s blog deletion by Google we have decided to offer ranters free hosting. We have registered the domain RantHost.com and are offering free subdomains with FTP access or SQL Databases (limited amount of these) and web space. We will not be offering any tools to help build a site but if you need help setting up a CMS that can be arranged. This is a service we are offering to ensure that ranters have the resources they need to keep doing their thing and are for rant sites ONLY. Within the next few days I’ll set up a page for RantHost.com and create a user agreement but if you are currently a list member using free hosting and want to switch or a non list member who wants to start a site just email me at cesspoolmessiah@gmail.com.
Big changes are planned for Rantlister.
As you can probably see, I’ve updated a few of the thumbnails for the List. There have also been four new additions to the List. Rantlister.com would like to welcome Arthur’s Hall, Fussy Pucker, How To Not Suck, and Captain Cooley to the List. I will start listing their updates on Thursday. I also added a “Cemetery” for sites that have been closed down. Since it won’t let me add a picture with no link, keep in mind that the links are dead, so don’t waste time clicking them. If you find that a link is no longer dead, please let us know so we can add them back to the Active Sites list.
I will eventually begin work on a new layout for Rantlister, meaning that we are probably going to abandon our use of Wordpress. Don’t expect this change to be soon. While I may have some time to work on this, I also have to dedicate a lot of my time to my upcoming business venture with this very wonderful woman I know. If I had to give you an estimate, I would say that it will be done before 6 months have passed. Will it take 6 months? Probably less. However, I can’t guarantee that. If you have any features you want added to the new site (no comment boxes, they’re useless), I’ve created a topic in the forum for your input. As of now, you have to be registered to view the board. So any lurkers, now is your chance to register and have a say.

I was informed by AJ that some of the links needed fixing, so that’s done. But one very important link couldn’t be fixed - as you may have read in Maddy’s latest posts he has secured a domain for Ninja Viking, but hasn’t given out the URL! So as soon as we get that link for the new Rants Of A Ninja Viking, we’ll update that link as well.
